1 January 2021 will be the effective date of the new consumer law which will revolutionise the e-commerce sector. What the new regulations mean for online shops and how to prepare for the upcoming changes?
Under the new regulations approx. 3 mn of one-man businesses will gain consumer rights thanks to which they will be able to return goods bought online on the same terms as private individuals.
Extension of the scope of protection so far given only to consumers to some businesses will impose additional obligations on online shops related to verification of contracts from the perspective of the relation to the buyer’s professional activity.
We invite you to watch a webinar for companies from the e-commerce sector during which the experts from TGC Corporate Lawyers discussed the new regulations concerning buyers’ rights and the involved obligations for e-sellers.
The webinar date:26. November 2020 Time:11:00 a.m.
