The new Pay Transparency Directive, adopted in 2023 by the European Parliament and the EU Council, introduces significant new obligations for employers. The directive aims to ensure pay equality between women and men. Companies with more than 250 employees will be required to report their gender pay gap annually. Smaller enterprises will also need to submit such reports, albeit less frequently. How can employers prepare for these new obligations?
View a recording of webinar hosted by TGC Corporate Lawyers, where we discussed the principles and goals of the new EU directive, explained what the gender pay gap is, and outline employers’ responsibilities in addressing it. We also highlighted the potential consequences employers may face for failing to comply with these requirements.
