Electronic delivery obligatory from 1 January 2025 at the earliest

Minister of Digitization has further postponed the date of implementation of mandatory e-delivery. According to the announcement published in the Journal of Laws on 19 July 2024, the term for introducing of this solution is moved from 1 October 2024 to 1 January 2025. The ministry highlights that this is the last postponement, and it results from the legislative process aimed at amending the Law on Electronic Deliveries.

Pay transparency: what obligations for companies?

The EU remuneration directive will introduce a lot of new obligations for companies. Although the deadline for its implementation into Polish law is 7 June 2026 but companies should already start preparing for the entry into force of the new regulations.

Adaptation of Polish law to EU regulations – de minimis aid act published

On 8 November, a law was published that introduces changes to the Polish regulations on de minimis aid. The new regulations are a response to the EU changes of 1 January 2024. Their aim is to adapt Polish law to the applicable European standards. Thanks to those changes, Polish undertakings will be able to take advantage of financial support more easily.

PKD 2025 – changes to the Polish Classification of Activities from January

From January 1, 2025, the current Polish Classification of Activities – PKD 2007 will be replaced by a new one – PKD 2025. The draft of the new classification was developed by the Main Statistical Office and is to be implemented by an ordinance of the Council of Ministers. Final legislative work is underway before the document is sent to the Prime Minister for signature. The regulations contained in the new ordinance will apply to legal entities, organizational units without legal personality and individuals conducting business activities (within the scope covered by the subject of the ordinance).
