Webinar: Changes in e-commerce from June 2020

On 1 June, the amended consumer law will come into force, thanks to which sole traders will be able to exercise the same rights to return goods purchased online as individuals.

As a result of the introduced changes, about 3 million buyers will obtain consumer rights. Currently, only a natural person has the right to return goods purchased online without giving any reason. They have at least fourteen days to do so. What will this mean for the e-commerce sector? How to prepare for the upcoming changes?

we held a webinar aimed at companies from the e-commerce sector, during which experts from TGC Corporate Lawyers discussed the new regulations on buyer rights.

Date of the webinar: 31.03.2020
Time: 11:00

During the meeting we will discussed:

  • New definition of a consumer
  • Challenges for the e-commerce sector – how to determine the “professional nature of the client’s business”?
  • Necessary changes in e-commerce documentation
  • Risks arising from the new legislation

During the webinar there will be a possibility to ask questions, all questions will be answered after the webinar.
