Airspace surveillance. Shoot down or not?

The war taking place beyond our eastern border has so far not directly affected the Republic of Poland. However, Polish public opinion has recently been electrified by the news that two objects have violated our airspace.

Nowadays, each state has complete and exclusive sovereignty over the airspace above its own territory and has the exclusive right to decide on everything that happens in the airspace. Piotr Dudek, Director of the New Technologies, Defence & Aerospace Department at TGC Corporate Lawyers explains to Skrzydlata Polska magazine how, when and under what conditions to react to violations of airspace.
